In the spirit of giving this holiday season, please consider making a donation to SCRAP D.C., a fledgling creative reuse non-profit in Brookland. SCRAP is such a invaluable community resource. Everyone there is so kind and many of the SCRAP volunteers are phenomenal crafters that want to share their talents. SCRAP offers discounted craft supplies, classes, pow-wows, and more. I have a studio space there but it’s being used as a storage unit so you can’t see it…but please come by SCRAP tomorrow from 12-5pm for SCRAP’s Holiday Market! Hopefully people aren’t paralyzed by the impending wintery mix. Brrrrr.
